Cryptogram Jam is a word puzzle. Each puzzle is a quotation from a public-domain work published before 1930, credited to its author, the work and the year. The quotations are chosen from a collection that is filtered to leave out violence, slurs and sexual content. There is no in-game currency, no loot box, and no randomised reward that can be bought.
Cryptogram Jam is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region), and is not designed for children. It is not in Apple's Kids Category and Apple's "Made for Kids" designation is Not Applicable. It is not enrolled in Google Play's Families programme, and its declared Play target audience is 13 and over. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The app contains third-party advertising served by Google AdMob: interstitial ads shown between puzzles, and rewarded ads the player chooses to watch for an extra hint. The maximum ad content rating requested from AdMob is G, suitable for general audiences. The app contains one optional in-app purchase, a single one-time purchase that removes interstitial ads.
Ads are non-personalised wherever consent is absent or is required and has not been given. In regions where a consent form is required, one from Google's User Messaging Platform is shown before any ad is requested, and the choice can be changed at any time from Settings ▸ Privacy Options. What the ad SDK collects and shares is set out in the privacy policy; this page does not restate it.
No user-generated content. No chat, messaging or comments. No social features, no friend lists, no online leaderboards, no accounts and no sign-in. Gameplay contains no links out of the app: no web links, no store links, no social media. Apart from the privacy policy link on the Settings screen, the only thing that can open a destination outside the app is an advertisement, and only if the player taps it.
