Grid Infect – End User Licence Agreement

Effective 17 September 2026. An agreement between you and Bloodhound Studios ("we", "us"), covering the Grid Infect app (com.bloodhoundstudios.gridinfect.app) on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

1. Licence

By installing or using Grid Infect you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install the app. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Grid Infect on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. The app is licensed to you, not sold, and we keep every right not granted here.

2. What you may not do

Do not sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the app. Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or modify it, except where the law gives you that right regardless of this clause. Do not remove any notice from it. Third-party components inside the app carry their own licences, listed in the third-party notices; for those components, their licence governs.

3. The remove-ads purchase

Grid Infect offers one optional, one-time purchase that removes interstitial ads. It is attached to the Google Play or App Store account that bought it, not to you, not to your device, and not to any account with us. It cannot be transferred to another store account or resold. To use it on a new device, sign in with the same store account; the app reads the store's purchase record and applies it.

We take no payment and we cannot issue refunds. Payments, refunds and chargebacks are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms, so a refund request goes to them. Nothing in this clause limits a statutory refund or cancellation right you have where you live.

4. Availability and changes

We may update the app, change it, or stop supporting any part of it, including ads and purchases, at any time. Features, levels and generated content may differ between versions.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions; there, they apply only so far as the law permits.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the app is limited to the amount you actually paid us for it, which for most users is nothing. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Privacy

What the app collects, and what is shared with whom, is set out in the privacy policy, not here.

8. App store terms

Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you installed it from. Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and have no responsibility for the app or its support.

9. Terms required for the Apple App Store

This clause applies if you obtained Grid Infect from the Apple App Store. Where it conflicts with anything else in this agreement, this clause wins.

(a) Acknowledgement. This agreement is concluded between you and Bloodhound Studios only, and not with Apple. Bloodhound Studios, not Apple, is solely responsible for Grid Infect and its content. This agreement does not conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

(b) Scope of the licence. The licence granted in clause 1 is a non-transferable licence to use Grid Infect on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that Grid Infect may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

(c) Maintenance and support. Bloodhound Studios is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Grid Infect, as specified in this agreement or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for Grid Infect.

(d) Warranty. Bloodhound Studios is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed in clause 5. If Grid Infect fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to Grid Infect. Grid Infect is free to download, so the purchase price of the app itself is nil; the remove-ads purchase is dealt with under clause 3. Any other claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty is the sole responsibility of Bloodhound Studios.

(e) Product claims. Bloodhound Studios, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim by you or any third party relating to Grid Infect or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that Grid Infect fails to conform to an applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and any claim arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation, including in connection with the app's use of the advertising and consent frameworks described in the privacy policy.

(f) Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that Grid Infect or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Bloodhound Studios, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.

(g) Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using Grid Infect.

(h) Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement. On your acceptance of it, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary of it.

(i) Developer contact. Grid Infect is published by Bloodhound Studios, whose contact details for any question or complaint about the app are in the Contact section below.

10. Legal compliance, export and sanctions

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a United States Government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws and regulations, including those of the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union, when using or accessing Grid Infect, and you must not use the app for any purpose prohibited by them.

11. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the law of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Connecticut have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of it. Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date. Using the app after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not, uninstall the app.

13. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of this agreement is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. This agreement, together with the privacy policy and the third-party notices, is the whole agreement between you and Bloodhound Studios about Grid Infect.
